This website is an exciting venture for us. Through our email and forum links you can now let us know what you think, what you want and what concerns you.
Due to the good work of our previous Membership Secretary, Denise Harwood, and her band of much appreciated helpers, we have over 1300 household members of the Parsonage Residents' Association. This makes us the largest Association in Bishop’s Stortford and we are recognised as an important voice for our community. We can campaign on your behalf on matters which affect you and your area and we have successfully gained improvements in the past which you probably now take for granted, such as the Pelican Crossing for Summercroft School, a safe Play Area, and our biggest project – to raise funds to build the Community Hall. The campaigns to save Birchanger Wood, to minimise the environmental and planning concerns relating to the Birchanger Service Area, to stop dog fouling on the Playing Field and to push back the then proposed Flight Path improved our environment and made Parsonage a safer place to live in.
What would you like to see us campaigning for next? Do you think we should organise more events? How can we help to improve the area we live in? Please use this new communication tool to share your thoughts and concerns with us, and we will report on your response. You can also email us with articles for inclusion in our Newsletter, the Parsonage Herald.
